Peppermint is a pleasant-smelling plant which is grown in orchards and gardens, and it can also grow spontaneously, if it escapes towards fields, in deep and moist land. It prefers temperate climates to colder or hotter ones, and is quite abundant in Europe.
We saw a lot of similarities to our way of working, in terms of the plant’s versatility and adaptability, and we knew that this ingredient would be a perfect fit for us, and that it would have to be present in our formula.
Rich in menthol, peppermint has, among other things, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and bactericidal properties, and has always been highly valued in the European tradition, among the Greeks and the Romans. If applied topically, it helps relieve pain and treat infections, itching and allergic reactions in the skin.
Scientific studies have demonstrated the benefits of peppermint on the digestive system and intestinal diseases, in the respiratory system and against muscle aches, headaches and sore throats.
